I did it for a year and quit in November. I pissed off a broker once. He acted like I was dumb and didn't know what a partial was because I told him it wasn't worth it. So I explained if I have to go out of my way and spend time to clear on a military base, and spend all day, it's no longer a partial, in my mind it becomes a dedicated load if I spend spend time I can grab two loads with BS.. I'm not doing it. I hung up and got 2 loads elsewhere that day and hauled them 3 states away be the next day. Fuel High and rates down. I quit playing the games. .

He doing business like a dummy you do not buy all them trucks cash or throw a bank. This the time am going to text. Do not buy a truck on your personal credit. Build your business credit first than by your new trucks through your business and if things go wrong it won't be in your name. He talking about getting different people advice. He not one to learn from.

The people on this video isn't going to tell you everything and keep it 100. You have to take an account what color the people that's giving you the advice. One thing about me I'm going to keep it real.

Buy used truck first if you can. and then once you get your business established for 2 years or more no buy a brand new truck on your business account.

What about car hauling hotshot? I originally bought a freight gooseneck 20+5 to start but it was much more cost than I thought in the end so I ended up going with a single car hauler and getting load from central dispatch…. Single car hauler was half the price and a bumper pull…. And all you need is wheel straps and 4 chains and binders… and maybe some wood depending on ur trailer approach angle….

If you get in this now and youre a company driver, meaning you drive someone elses van with no overhead but you still cover all fuel costs yourself expect to make $800-1200 weekly takehome (after any bs fees or whatever) Sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less, Its up and down every week. If you are an owner opps expect to make mid 2k-3k a week. STMSTL ..These are rates if your dispatcher is any kind of good.

I'd like to speak with you about leasing to your company to get the experience. I have a 2022 F-350 and a 30 ft trailer. I do have a CDL. I have my own authority but I'm new to the game. I've contacted a few dispatchers and will be dealing with some to get out there. After the new year, my intent is to get rolling on my own. I do own another business, so I'm not stressed out with a ton of debt to make it.
